Flatbed vs. Equipment Trailer:
How to Know Which One You Need
The simplest way to tell these two apart is to ask how the load gets onto the trailer. If it gets placed there by a forklift, or if workers load it by hand from the end, you want a flatbed. If it drives or rolls on under its own power, like a skid steer, excavator, or tractor, you want an equipment trailer with a ramp or tilt deck.
Using the wrong trailer for the job creates a real problem at the loading point. Big Rentals rents both flatbeds and equipment trailers in Corpus Christi. Just tell us what you are hauling and how it gets loaded, and we will make sure you walk out with the right trailer.
