Flatbed vs. Enclosed Trailer:
When Open Is the Better Option
Enclosed trailers have walls and a roof, which is great when you need to protect your load from the weather or keep it out of sight. But that same enclosure becomes a problem when your material is too long to fit through the rear door, or when the supplier loading it uses a forklift and needs access from the side.
If you are picking up materials from a warehouse or supplier in Laredo that loads with a forklift, a flatbed is the right rental. If you are moving tools, furniture, or valuables that need protection, an enclosed trailer may be the better fit. Big Rentals rents both and can help you decide which makes more sense for what you are hauling.
