Southland 7x14 14K dump

The Southland 7x14 14k offers one of the lightest trailers on the market and is one of the most inexpensive trailers for its size. However, being lighter and less expensive does not make it a cheaply made or designed trailer. Southland has been making this trailer since the 1980's. The 7x14 14k sits on top of two Lippert axles where a multi-leaf spring suspension system rests under the equalizer. The frame is a 2x6-inch tube frame that is composed of two parts, one being the tongue frame, and the other being the dump box frame. This two-piece frame design allows maximum support in the frame when the trailer is loaded. The dump box itself is composed of a 10-guage floor and a 12-guage wall.
